Are You Playing the Old Game or the New Game?

Jul 03, 2026

One thing I've learnt over the years is that every major change in business gives every leader a choice.

You can keep playing the old game, or you can step into the new one.

The old game is resisting change, hoping things go back to the way they were, or doing the bare minimum just to get by.

The new game is looking at change and asking, "How can this make your business better?"

With AML Tranche 2 now in effect, I believe that's exactly the mindset we need.

Yes, there are new obligations. Yes, there are new systems and processes to put in place. But there's also an opportunity to build a more professional business, create better consistency across your team, and strengthen the trust your clients place in you.

The leaders who do this well won't see AML as a compliance exercise. They'll see it as another step towards building a stronger business.

That's the new game.

If you haven't downloaded my AML Compliance Playbook yet, I'd encourage you to do that today.

I put it together to take the complexity out of the changes and give you practical steps you can start implementing straight away.

Change isn't slowing down.

The question is, are you trying to keep up with it, or are you using it to move your business forward?
