The 4 Ts of Momentum

May 29, 2026

One of the simplest ways to unlock more momentum in your business is to get intentional about what I call the 4Ts — Time, Team, Tech, and Tools.

When these are working for you, rather than you constantly working in them, everything changes.

Start with Time.
This is about focus and leverage in how the business operates day to day. Where is time actually being spent, and is it aligned to the activities that drive growth and outcomes? Too often, businesses get caught in activity that feels necessary but doesn’t materially move performance forward. The goal is to be clear on what matters most, and make sure time is directed there consistently.

Then there’s Team.
This is about capability and clarity across the business. Are people clear on what they own, what good looks like, and how they contribute to outcomes? When there’s clarity and accountability, the business stops relying on a few individuals and starts performing as a system.

Next is Tech.
Most businesses underuse their systems. When used properly, tech should help you categorise, track, and prompt action, not just store data. It becomes the structure that keeps your pipeline moving forward consistently.

And finally, Tools.
This is your ability to stay connected and relevant in the market — SMS, email, social, direct messaging, even simple handwritten touchpoints. The goal is not complexity, it’s consistency and relevance.

When you bring the 4Ts together, you create leverage.

And leverage is what turns effort into sustained momentum.
